Bridges International is a student organization which seeks to help international students through service activities, social networking opportunities and spiritual resources. Last year the University of West Virginia hosted approximately 2,000 international students and visiting scholars. Students from all over the world study in the United States. Below are the top five nations or areas that currently have the most international students studying in the U.S.
- India (83,833, up 9.6%)
- China (67,723, up 8.2%)
- Korea (62.392, up 5.7%)
- Japan (35,282, down 8.9%)
- Taiwan (29,094, up 4.4%)
